INORMATION ABOUT MEMBERSHIP 

Membership is by annual paid subscription

REGISTERED MEMBER: - includes 3rd party public liability insurance and product liability insurance for claims up to £10m, on beekeeping related activities. Registration with the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) which mails a monthly newsletter to all members. The Cheshire Beekeeper Magazine is available bi-monthly on the CBKA website or circulated as a hard copy. Emailed newsletters from Cheshire and Stockport Beekeepers keep members informed. The annual fee is £30.

PARTNER MEMBER:- Full benefits as above, but without separate BDI cover and mailings from the BBKA or Cheshire BKA. This member must reside at the same address as a registered member. Annual fee £20.

COUNTRY MEMBER:- BBKA and Cheshire BKA newsletters as Registered Member (above) but no insurance. This category is for people who do not (yet) have bees but wish to be kept informed of the BBKA and Cheshire BKA activities. Annual fee £20.

FRIEND OF CHESHIRE BEEKEEPERS:- For non-beekeepers who wish to support Stockport Beekeepers.  Friends receive the bi-monthly Cheshire Beekeeper Magazine on the Chehire  website. Emailed newsletters from Cheshire and Stockport Beekeepers. Annual fee £10.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER:- Restricted to the non-beekeeping wife/husband/partner of any of the above members. Cheshire Beekeeper Magazine is available bi-monthly on the CBKA website. Newsletters from Stockport Beekeepers.

Annual fee £5.

JUNIOR MEMBER:- Up to and including the age of 17 years. No insurance cover, Cheshire BKA newsletters or correspondence. Cheshire Beekeeper Magazine is available bi-monthly on the CBKA website. Newsletters from Stockport Beekeepers. Annual fee £7.
