SHOWS AND EVENTS

At various country shows and events across Cheshire members of Cheshire Beekeepers Association, including the Stockport Branch, will often have a presence. In Stockport we are very active in this regard as it enables us to talk about bees and honey with the public. We also generally sell a lot of our honey, which is always in high demand.

We also hold an annual Honey Show at which members display their honey, beeswax candles, honey cakes, mead and other products. There are classes for beginners as well as highly competitive slots for experienced honey show attendees. The judges are qualified experts who only give first prize to the very best exhibits. Such an award can significantly boost honey sales.
