MENTORS

At Stockport Beekeepers we aim to support our members on their beekeeping journey. Some new beekeepers benefit from the guidance of a mentor - a more experienced beekeeper who can answer their questions and boost their confidence. Often support will be by email, text message or telephone call, but sometimes mentors will visit in person to help out. 

 

The mentor scheme is beneficial to mentors too. We are always looking for our more experienced members to make themselves available to offer support to newer members. It can be a very rewarding experience to be able to guide novice beekeepers through their first season or two.
