Beekeeping Theory Course

This course starts on January 5, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and continues for nine consecutive Mondays until March 3. The schedule covers all aspects of beekeeping, enabling someone to begin this exciting pastime. A practical course complements this course in May 2026.

About the Event
Topics covered include: the history of honey bees, the biology of honey bees, the beekeeping year, swarm management, equipment and how to make and use it, bee diseases and dealing with these. The course teachers are all experienced beekeepers.
